Today, the Cantons of Raqqa, Tabqa and Manbij witnessed several activities to denounce the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan and demand the escalation of the struggle to achieve his physical freedom.

The Council of Martyrs' Families in Raqqa Canton organized a demonstration to demand the lifting of the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan, in which hundreds of families of martyrs, members of civil and military institutions and women's organizations participated.

The demonstration began in front of the Children's Hospital in the city of Raqqa, with participants holding pictures of leader Ocalan and banners reading "There is no life without the leader", "No to isolation", "No to occupation", and "It is time for freedom", chanting "There is no life without the leader", "Long live leader Ocalan", and "Down with the international conspiracy".

Upon its arrival at the Free Women's Square in the city center, the participants observed a minute of silence in tribute to the souls of the martyrs, and then the co-chair of Martyrs' Families Council, Mohamed al-Ahmad, delivered a speech in which he condemned the methods of torture and isolation imposed by the Turkish occupation state on the leader Ocalan and called on international organizations to work to achieve the physical freedom of the leader.

The demonstration ended with the chant "There is no life without the leader."

MANBIJ

In this context, the people of Manbij Canton came out in a demonstration organized in the town of Al-Farat in the western countryside of the Canton, with the participation of hundreds of residents of Manbij Canton, members of civil and military institutions, women's organizations, youth, sheikhs and tribal notables.

The demonstration started in front of the Al-Farat town council in the village of Al-Asaliya, and upon its arrival at the village square, the demonstrators stood for a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the co-chair of the Al-Farat town council, Farouq Sheikho, made a statement condemning the daily targeting by the Turkish occupation state on the frontlines of the Farat line and all frontlines in NE Syria, northern Iraq and Şengal.

Hajar al-Ali, member of the Zenobia Women's Association in Manbij Canton, said: "What the Turkish occupation state is doing is contrary to all human rights laws and it wants to turn the area into a battlefield and destruction while enjoying peace and stability."

The demonstration ended with the chant "There is no life without the leader."

TABQA

The Syrian Initiative for the Freedom of Leader Ocalan in Tabqa Canton also made a statement in the 4 April park, read by a member of the initiative, Abdullah al-Mabrouk.

The statement stressed that the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan is the only way to solve the issues of the Middle East according to his approach and thought, and to consolidate democratic modernity and blow up capitalist and nationalist modernity that is based on marginalization and exclusion of peoples and women.

The statement called on human rights organizations, especially the CPT, to immediately disclose the leader's health status.
