Private sources told ANHA agency that two months ago, Turkey informed the leaders of its mercenaries in Syria to recruit Syrians to fight against the Guerrilla in the mountains of Kurdistan, while previous information confirmed the arrival of batches of mercenaries to Turkish bases in Southern Kurdistan.

" The mercenaries were subjected to closed training, most of which were “theoretical,” in Turkey, and they were returned to Syria and gathered in a camp in the “Tal al-Hawa” area, in the northern Aleppo countryside" the director of the VDC, Mustafa Abdi told ANHA agency.

He added that during this period, using mobile phones was completely prohibited, and Turkey gave the Syrians a choice between deportation to Syria or recruiting them as mercenaries.

He noted that the authorities in Turkey resorted to their mercenaries in Syria, to reduce popular pressure on their authorities inside Turkey, especially after the escalation of racist rhetoric against the Syrians, in the light of the decline in the popularity of the Justice and Development Party. So they were recruiting Syrians to serve Turkey’s interests, due to the high number of deaths of the Turkish army in Southern Kurdistan.

He stated that MIT had informed the leaders of the mercenaries of the so-called “National Army”  to register names of hundreds of mercenaries for a salary of up to 1,000 US dollars.

According to information, mercenaries are militarily trained  inside the occupied Syrian territories in camps. They are also provided with weapons and military equipment and transported to Southern Kurdistan.

" Most of the mercenaries who were transferred to Southern Kurdistan are from two Turkmen factions, (Al-Hamzah and Suleiman Shah Division)," noting that the two factions are subject to US sanctions" the VDC of NE Syria added.

The Center also confirmed the presence of more than 300 ISIS mercenaries in the “Barwari Bela” area in the city of Dohuk, Southern Kurdistan.
