To alter the demographics of Syrian regions, Turkish authorities have forcibly deported 3,500 Syrian refugees from their territory since early July, resettling them in the occupied areas instead of the original inhabitants who were displaced.

Sources reported that Turkish occupation forces have deported 840 Syrian refugees from their territory to resettle them in the areas they occupy within Syria over the past seven days.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights confirmed that Turkey forcibly deported 3,540 Syrians since early July.

Turkey's actions blatantly violate international agreements concerning refugee rights and protection from forcible expulsion, despite receiving billions of dollars from the European Union for humanitarian aid and migration management. According to these agreements, particularly the prohibition of detaining children for reasons related to asylum, forced deportation constitutes a flagrant violation of human rights, conflicting with numerous international civil and political rights conventions and UN Human Rights Council resolutions and the International Declaration of Human Rights.
