ISIS attack leaves 4 Syrian soldiers dead in Raqqa desert

The death toll from Damascus forces rose to four members over the explosion of a mine planted by ISIS mercenaries in their  military vehicle. The death toll during attacks within the Syrian desert reached 477 people since the beginning of the year.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that a Syria  soldier died from wounds he sustained following the explosion of a mine planted by “ISIS members” on July 14, bringing the death toll in the same incident to four soldiers.

" On July 14, three regime soldiers, including a lieutenant were killed due to the explosion of an old landmine planted yesterday by ISIS members, in their military vehicles during reconnaissance operations in Al-Raqqah desert, searching for ISIS members" SOHR added.

The death toll during attacks within the Syrian desert, according to the Syrian Observatory, has reached 477 people since the beginning of 2024.
