Internal Security Forces arrest ISIS mercenaries in Deir ez-Zor
The Internal Security Forces of the NE Syria region arrested ISIS mercenaries in the north of Deir ez-Zor Canton.
The Media Center of the Internal Security Forces for the NE Syria region published information on its official website about the arrest of ISIS members by its forces in Deir ez-Zor, in which it indicated that:
"The General Security Serves, in coordination with our special forces (H.A.T.), and with the support of the international coalition, was able to arrest 2 members of the terrorist ISIS cells north of Deir ez-Zor, on Friday, July 19."
And added "This qualitative operation came after monitoring and analyzing the movements of ISIS cells and following up on their activities by our forces in the General Security Serves, where they were able to identify the hiding places of 2 dangerous elements, involved in assassinations, targeting security and military forces and intimidating citizens, as these places were raided, and the raid resulted in the arrest of 2 members and the seizure of weapons and ammunition.
Our forces are continuing preliminary investigations with the detainees in preparation for referring them to the judiciary to hold them accountable in accordance with the regulations and laws."
