Targeting residential areas in Jableh countryside
Jableh countryside is being subjected to shelling, and Syrian human rights organizations indicate that this is "to pressure residents to displace from these villages."

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights revealed that members of the Damascus-based Ministry of Defense targeted the village of al-Ghaniri in the Jableh countryside with four shells, causing panic and anxiety among civilians.
In a related development, drone attacks continued for the second day in a row on the village of Al-Rasif and the junction of the village of Barqa, located in the Wadi Al-Qalaa area in the Jableh countryside.
According to SOHR, the goal of these attacks is "to force residents to leave their homes and forcibly displace them, in the absence of any accountability or legal oversight."
In the same context, families in Damascus are being subjected to forced evictions at gunpoint, according to testimonies and human rights sources.
A recent Reuters report revealed that the Damascus-based General Security Service (GSS) is engaging in a recurring pattern of "forced evictions of Alawite families" from their homes in the capital, without legal procedures or court orders.
The report documented testimonies from officials and victims indicating an escalation in the pace of these operations since last December.
Researchers describe these violations as a form of "transitional injustice," in which practices of the former regime are repeated, but this time the victims are from new groups.
