Further details about infiltration of mercenaries in rural Manbij

The commander of the Idlib Revolutionaries Brigade confirmed their constant readiness to maintain security and stability and to repel any attack by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, which came after the fighters yesterday repelled an attempt by the mercenaries of the occupation to infiltrate the western countryside of Manbij.

Yesterday, on the second day of Eid al-Adha, fighters from the Idlib Revolutionaries Brigade of the Kurdish Front forces, under the banner of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), repelled an attempt by Turkish occupation mercenaries to infiltrate the village of Buehij in the western countryside of Manbij canton.

In its news yesterday, the Media Center of the Manbij Military Council MMC stated that the attempted infiltration had originated in the village of Kridiya, which had been repelled by the fighters and had caused casualties among the mercenaries who had fled.

The commander of the Idlib Revolutionaries Brigade Iskandar Alaa, speaking to ANHA's agency, pointed out that the infiltration of mercenaries into the western countryside of Manbij was an attempt to destabilize security and stability during the days of the blessed Eid al-Adha.

In the details of the response to the mercenaries, Alaa stated that the Idlib Revolutionary Brigade had repelled the infiltration and inflicted casualties on the mercenaries. He continued: The mercenaries remained trapped for nearly four hours, sneaking in at 4 p.m. and ongoing their siege until 8.30 p.m., when they fled under the cover of darkness.

The number of mercenaries on the first line was estimated at 20, and in the back line there were 15 mercenaries, who used heavy weapons and missiles, the Turkish occupation bases fired artillery to support them, but they were confronted with high morale by the fighters.

The commander of the Idlib Revolutionaries Brigade Iskandar Alaa also said: The mercenaries used the days of Eid al-Adha to attack the safe villages and violated the sanctity of Eid al-Adha, and seven months ago the occupation and its mercenaries attempted to infiltrate the villages of Buehij and al-Bogaz, and they met with constant resistance.
