NE Syria celebrates of 11th anniversary of July 19 revolution

Today (July 19, 2023), the regions of NE Syria are witnessing popular celebrations, on the 11th anniversary of the July 19 revolution, which started in Kobani and spread to Jazera and Afrin to, Manbij, Tabqa, Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor.

The celebrations began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs.

The celebration squares witnessed the hanging of pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and pictures of the martyrs of the July 19 revolution, flags of the Democratic Society Movement.

Kobani

Thousands of people from the Euphrates region celebrate the 11th anniversary of the launch of the July 19 revolution, in Martyr Akid Square in the center of Kobani.

3 speeches will be delivered on behalf of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Kongra Star, and the Executive Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in the Euphrates region.

After that, artistic and dance performances will be presented by the teams affiliated with the Golden Crescent Movement and the Baqi Khedo Center for Culture and Art in the city of Kobani.

Qamishlo

Thousands of residents of the city of Qamishlo and the districts of Amuda, Tirbe Spî and Tel Hamis of Qamishlo canton celebrate on the grounds of the martyr Haitham Kajou stadium.

At the ceremony, two speeches were given on behalf of the Autonomous Administration and the Kongra Star. The Martyr Zilan Band of the Culture and Art Center in Ad-Darbasiyah district, the Martyr Sakina Band of the Golden Crescent and the artist Baran Delbahar will perform.

Hasaka

The celebration began in the April 4 Park, located in the Musherifa neighborhood in the city of Hasaka, in the presence of thousands of residents of Hasakah and the district of Tel Brak.

Two speeches were delivered on behalf of the Autonomous Administration and Kongra Star.

Musical performances will be presented at the celebration by Sardam Band, in addition to singing performances by Tolhadan Ensemble, artist Farhad Mardi and Taleb Khalil.

Dêrik

In Dêrik, the celebration is held in the Dejla Park, with the participation of the people of the city and the villages of the Gujarat.

The performances are for the Al-Fateria and Martyr Sarhad bands for singing, and the artist Hassan Derki and the artist Suzdar Afrin.

Girke Lege

As for Girke Lege, the celebration will be held in the hall of the Essential Protection Center in Girke Lege district, with the participation of hundreds of residents of the district and the two districts of Çîl Agha and Tal Koçer, in which two speeches were given on behalf of the Autonomous Administration and Kongra Star.

As for the performances, they are for the Judy Wake Bar and Aziz Arab bands for singing, and the artist Radwan Dêrik.

Tapqa

The Democratic Civil Administration in the ceremonial class in the city's Sports Federation Hall also organized a ceremonial event

3 speeches were delivered, on behalf of the Democratic Civil Administration in Tabqa, the Zenobia Women's Gathering, and the Women's Protection Units, after which 5 singing paragraphs were presented by artists from Tabqa and Manbij.

Al-Raqqa, Al-Shahba, Al-Derbasiyah and Al-Shaddadi

A few hours ago, 4 ceremonies were held in Raqqa (in the municipal stadium at 17:00), Al-Shahba (in the village of Maaratah at 17:00), Al-Darbasiyah (in the garden of the martyr Zaffin at 17:00) and Al-Shaddadi (in the leader’s garden at 17:00). 18:00).

Aleppo

The celebration will be held in Aleppo, in the cemeteries area of the eastern section of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, at 20:00, and two speeches will be delivered in it; On behalf of Kongra Star, and the people of Sheikh Maqsoud and Ashrafieh neighborhoods.

As for the artistic performances, they are presented by 4 groups of folklore singing, two of them from Al-Shahba canton, and a show of folkloric dance.
