Turkey uses 800 more individuals to alter occupied Girê Sipî demographic composition

During the month of June, Turkish authorities forcibly deported 800 individuals from their lands to the occupied city of Girê Sipî/Tal Abyad. This increases the total number used by them to change the demographics of this city and its countryside to more than 35,800 people.

A local source from the border gate of the occupied city of Girê Sipî reported that the Turkish occupation authorities deported 800 individuals during the month of June of the current year in preparation for their settlement in the homes of the forcibly displaced in the city.

According to the source, those deported are from the cities of Hama, Aleppo, Idlib, Deir ez-Zor, and the countryside of Damascus, along with some Palestinians, indicating Turkey's goal of settling strangers in the city, in order to change its demographics.

On June 5th of this year, a young Palestinian man was forcibly deported from the city of "Gaza," where he had been residing in Turkey, to the occupied city of Girê Sipî.

With this number entering, the number of individuals used by the Turkish authorities in forced deportation operations to change the demographics of the city and its countryside has risen to more than 35,800 people, including 72 Iraqis, since the beginning of April 2022.
