The mercenaries, who are part of al-Fatah al-Mubin, fired artillery shells at a position of the Damascus government on the axis of the town of Deir Dakhil, east of Idlib.

In a related incident, a person was injured after a suicide drone targeted a car in which he was traveling in the village of Majdalia in the Idlib countryside.

With this, the number of those killed by ground attacks within the so-called “de-escalation” zone since the beginning of the year 2024 has risen to 261 people, during 237 attacks that varied between sniper operations, clashes, targets, and suicide drones, according to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported.
