Turkish occupation authorities deported 160 Syrian refugees to the occupied Girê Spî canton

The Turkish occupation authorities deported 160 Syrian refugees from their lands to the Syrian interior through the Girê Spî border gate, as part of the settlement operations they are pursuing in the occupied areas.

A local source from the occupied Girê Spî canton reported that the Turkish occupation authorities deported 160 Syrian refugees from its lands to the occupied Girê Spî canton, via the border gate, on Friday.

According to the source, these refugees are from cities; Hama, Aleppo, Idlib, Damascus countryside and other Syrian cities.

Recently, there have been many deportations of Syrians from Turkish lands towards the Syrian regions occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, as ANHA's agency documented the entry of more than 22,000 of these refugees since the Turkish officials announced in the beginning of April 2022 the construction of a project to resettle the Syrian refugees who are in its lands in the regions. The Syrian occupation, such as (Jarabulus, Azaz, Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê).

It also documented the entry of 40 Syrian refugees through the border gate at the end of last June, and the deportation of a 13-year-old child, Ahmed Talal Mawas Al-Issa, from the village of Dabsi Afnan (the eastern countryside of the Syrian city of Aleppo) on July 9.

It should be noted that our agency documented, on June 23, the suicide of young Alaa Assem Shahada (20 years old) from the city of Yabroud in the countryside of Damascus, days after he was forcibly deported to the occupied Girê Spî canton.
