Remembering the Tragedy of Tal Aran-Tal Hasil

On Saturday, the Office of the Organization of the Delegates of al-Shahba and Afrin issued a statement on the eleventh anniversary of the massacre of Tal Aran and Tal Hasil. It was delivered in front of the organization office in the center of Manbij city by the member of the Office of the Organization of the Delegates of al-Shahba and Afrin, Fadel Darwish, in the presence of members of the Democratic Autonomous Administration of Manbij canton and its affiliated bodies, political parties, the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, and military forces. It stated:

"The eleventh anniversary of the massacre of Tal Hasil and Tal Aran passes us by, and we are living the height of the conflict in Syria and the world. Perhaps it was an important turning point in the reality of the Syrian crisis, as it was the beginning and launch of the Islamization of the popular movement and its control over areas in Syrian geography.

This resistance formed the seed of the struggle against the policy of the Turkish state and against Turkish interference in Syrian affairs, and revealed the mask hidden by slogans of sympathy and compassion to reveal the truth and goal of these colonial countries, foremost among them Turkey.

We, On behalf of the families of the victims of the massacres of Tal Hasil and Tal Aran, we ask those who were exploited by the Turkish state to reconsider their reality, know the enemy from the friend, and apologize to the people for their actions before this moment passes them by and history curses them and their names are remembered in the category of treason and collaboration, such as the treason of Masoud Barzani and his family against the Kurdish people, and his dealings with the occupying Turkish state against his people in parts of Kurdistan. We demand that the international powers hold the Turkish state, Masoud Barzani and his family accountable; because they are the real reason behind the massacres and war crimes committed throughout Syria.
