Citizens tell violations of Turkish occupation on border

The border villages of Girê Sipî/Tel-Abyed canton have recently witnessed repeated shooting by Turkish army on civilians working in their fields along the border.

Hawar news agency(ANHA) interviewed with number of the people in al-Assal village belonging to Suluk district in Girê Sipî/Tel-Abyed, who were targeted by of the soldiers of Turkish occupation army which resulted in injury of an elderly women sitting in front of her doorstep and civilian working in his field about 300 m from the border.

Citizen wounded Khalof Mohammed Issa said "While I was repairing the water pump, the Turkish soldiers stationed at the border opened fire on me, where I was shot in the arm that is was repairing the pump with."

Issa points out that the Turkish occupation is trying to break our arms that we earn our living with, he said "They prevent us from working and making our livelihood."

Citizen Haji Diab said "We have been used to Turkish violations so that we are targeted on a daily basis. A week ago, they targeted the workshops of workers working in the field, and they were prevented from working."

He stressed that when they go to their field of work and we are always fearing because of the targeting by Turkish soldiers, and asked, "Is the whole world afraid of Turkey to put an end to its crimes against humanity?

In turn, the Co-chair of Suluk council Shadia Haj Ali said that "the Turkish occupation is not tired of targeting civilians, without concern to the international community and human rights organizations, "They aim to target us to displace us from our villages so as to facilitate occupation as they did Afrin."
