Elder's clans held meeting in Deir ez-Zor

Deir ez-Zor Civil Council held a meeting today with the elders of the Arabic clans in Deir ez Zor to discuss the situation in the city and its countryside.

The council held the meeting at its headquarters in al-Kasra area related to Deir ez-Zor with the elders and sheikhs of the Arabic clans in the area. The meeting was attended by a number of sheikhs, Deir ez-Zor countryside's clans, representatives of Syria Democratic Council (SDC)and representatives of civil institutions.

Political member of the Syria Democratic Council Hassen Mohamed Ali spoke about the importance of the meeting and the need to hold such meetings to get closer to the people through their elders and listen to their demands and work to repair mistakes and build a free democratic society, adding that the purpose of the meeting is to listen to the problems experienced by the people " .

The co-chair of Deir ez-Zor Civil Council Ghissan Yusuf said to ANHA agency "We discussed several issues raised by the elders, including service, health and education."

He said that elders confirmed their support and solidarity to Deir ez-Zor council, the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Afrin people.

The participants at the end confirmed the full support of the Syrian Democratic Councils (SDC) and Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, and the total rejection of the Turkish occupation of northern Syria.
