The Service Committee is still continuing to work at full capacity to deliver drinking water to all neighborhoods of the city and pumping it every day for limited hours. Currently, the workshops are working on an ongoing basis to end the damaged pipes in the near future.

The workshop, which is mandated by the People's Municipality, suffers from poverty with the availability of adequate machinery and equipment to repair the pipes. However, the Service Committee continues according to its capacity in its work.

The repair workshops continue to repair the lines and water networks in the neighborhoods of the city. The committee initially worked to repair most of the networks, including the main line of the city, and then began to repair the rest of the lines that emerged after the process of pumping water from the main station in a pilot to learn the faults.

After learning about the damage, the workshop aimed to rehabilitate 'Basil "Street, which is of great importance to the neighborhood, since it provides drinking water to about 200,000 people.

The workshop was carried out in three stages. First, the workshop repaired major lines with large diameters, with lines of 800mm to 300mm diameter.

The second stage includes the rehabilitation of the main lines in Basil Street which has four pipes.

This line feeds the "Basel Street Line", "Al-Rasheed, Basil Street, al-Hadikah al-Bayida , al-Edkhar roundabout , al-Basil roundabout and al-Kitar street , " and the cost of this line exceeded 70 million SP.

The third stage, according to the Director of the Water Department Engineer Jassim al-Khalaf, who said, "We started in the third stage to work on the rehabilitation of the water line of 600 mm, despite our limited possibilities and failure of organizations to provide support to us, The availability of adequate and capable machineries to help us because there are a lot of faults in al-Sakia line, al-Basil Mosque, and the National Hospital.

Al-Khalaf said that this line, which we are currently working on, feeds al-Thkanah neighborhood, al-Kitar ,and al-Edkhar the and within a week we will complete the repair of this line, and we promise our al-Raqqa people that we will work at full swing to secure the water.

The Administrator of the Water Department in al-Raqqa Engineer Jassim al-Khalaf called all humanitarian organizations to provide assistance to them to expedite the rehabilitation of the city.
