Economy Body in al-Tabqa city to activate landline network
The Economy Body in al-Tabqa recently issued an announcement to those wishing to re-activate their previous landline phones.
AL-TABQA - The purpose of this announcement was to urge al-Tabqa citizens to register their names with payment of the subscription fee for the rehabilitation of destroyed mail during the war between "Daesh "and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) which ended with liberation al-Tabqa city on May 10 from grip of IS gangs.
The mail building has completely been destroyed, and in this framework the Economy Body is trying to bring a new partition instead of the destroyed which is digitally developed.
A bid of 131 million Syrian Pounds was made for the proposed switchboard.
Al-Tabqa city contains 13 cable lines of telephone landlines, including 6 cables, while 7 cables remained in full readiness.
The Economy Body is seeking to activate the landline telephone network through these cables, noting that the former postal division contains 3,624 land lines.
It is worth mentioning that al-Tabqa will return to terrestrial communications and the same numbers of previous lines, of course, connected to cables ready in the event of this project.
