HASAKA

Thousands of people from the city of Hasaka, Al-Hawl, Al-Darbasiyah, and Tal Tamr flocked to April 4 Park in the city of Hasaka to celebrate the 12th anniversary of the July 19, 2012 revolution.

The celebration began with a minute of silence, then the Co-chair of the Legislative Council of the Democratic Autonomous Administration in Jazera Canton, Hikmat Habib said, “The revolution in NE Syria was to eliminate tyranny and injustice, then it developed into a democratic societal revolution for all Syrians, depending on  brotherhood of peoples."

For her part, Fatima Al-Ali, the member of the Martyrs' Families Council in the city of Hasaka, congratulated the success of the July 19 Revolution.

She emphasized that the DAA will remain the basis for the unity of all components of the region.

Al-Ali pledged, on behalf of the Martyrs' Families Council, to follow the path of the martyrs for setting leader free and achieving martyrs aspirations."

“After 12 years of struggle, resistance, and challenges, we are still on the path of struggle to achieve freedom and equality" Ramzia Muhammad the member of the Kongra Star said.

She continued: "Our resistance will not be defeated, we will resist all plots for achieving the victory."
