HPG destroys 4 military vehicles of Turkish occupation army
The People's Defense Forces (HPG) destroyed 4 military vehicles of the Turkish occupation army during an operation that targeted a supply convoy heading towards the Medya defense areas, S. Kurdistan.
The HPG Media Center issued a statement today regarding the operations carried out by the Guerrilla forces and the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army in recent days. The statement read:
In the Khakurkregion:
On July 14, at 21:00, our forces intercepted a Sikorsky helicopter attempting to carry out an airdrop operation for occupation soldiers on Shkef Hill, forcing the helicopter to move away from the area.
On July 17, at 10:40, our forces targeted the occupiers on Shkef Hill with heavy weapons.
In the Martyr Delil area west of Zap:
On July 15, at 00:30, our forces carried out an operation against a military supply convoy of the Turkish occupation army while it was heading to the Serke resistance area. The operation, which targeted the convoy from two directions, resulted in the destruction of two Kirpi armored vehicles and two military trucks. The number of the occupiers, who were killed and injured, inside the armored vehicles was not determined. After the operation, the occupiers removed the wreckage of their vehicles with cranes and trucks from the operation site.
On July 17, at 16:45, our forces carried out a special operation against the occupiers who were trying to advance in the resistance area on FM Hill, stopping the movement of the occupation soldiers.
On July 17, at 18:00, the occupiers in the resistance area on Bahar Hill were targeted with semi-automatic weapons, hitting a position of the occupation army.

On July 17, our tunnels in the resistance area on Judi Hill were bombed 3 times with prohibited explosives.
On July 17, our tunnels in the resistance area on FM Hill were bombed 8 times with prohibited explosives.
Turkish occupation army attacks:
On July 17, the Martyr Sharif and Kolit areas in the Khakurk region were attacked 3 times, the Dersh area in the Gare region once, and the resistance areas on Bahar Hill and Amadiya Hill in the Martyr Delil area west of Zap twice, for a total of 6 times.
On July 18, the resistance area on Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil area west of Zap was bombed by attack helicopters, causing a fire in the area.”
