Mechanism to implement Second Tribal Forum outputs

A meeting of the AANES, SDF and SDC in the NE Syria region discussed the mechanism for implementing the outputs of the second tribal forum, amid preparation for announcing what looks like a general amnesty, and accelerating the trips of Syrians wishing to leave Al-Hol camp, according to the deputy co-chair of SDC.

The Democratic Autonomous Administration, the Democratic Syria Council and the Democratic Syria Forces held a meeting, the first of its kind, following the second tribal forum, the "Second National Unity Forum for Syrian Tribes and Components", which was held on the 25th of last May.

The meeting, which discussed the outcomes and recommendations of the Tribal Forum, was attended by the co-chair of the Democratic Autonomous Administration, Evin Swed and Hussein Othman, and their deputies, the co-chair of the SDC, Laila Qahraman, Mahmoud Al-Muslat and her deputies, member of the General Command of the Women's Protection Units (YPJ), Rohlat Afrin, the Commander-in-Chief of the Democratic Syria Forces Mazloum Abdi, and members of the General Command Council of the Forces.

Deputy co-chair of the Syria Council for Democracy, Ghassan al- Youssef, explained to ANHA agency that the agenda of the meeting is to follow up on matters related to the North and East Syria region, and the most prominent points discussed are the follow-up to the outcomes of the tribal forum held recently.

Ghassan al- Youssef noted that: "The most prominent demands of the forum is the issuance of a general amnesty for Syrian prisoners whose hands are not stained with blood, and there are practical measures that were implemented by the Autonomous Administration during its meeting with the Justice Bureau, and a large number of prisoners' files were studied, and a large number of them will be released."

Al Hol Camp

Al-Youssef explained: "There was also the issue of removing Syrian families from Al-Hol camp, as requested by the Tribal Forum, and in the next few days, the files of Syrians wishing to leave the camp will be accelerated, through the follow-up committees formed by the Democratic Autonomous Administration."

Service Issues

Al- Youssef noted that they discussed a number of other issues, the most important of which are services related to the region, such as agriculture, services and water, in light of the pressures exerted against the region and the blockade imposed on the region, and how to respond to the demands of the people at various levels and sectors.
