New strategy adopted by Turkey by changing sites of its mercenaries
Turkish intelligence operating within the occupied territories is working to compel mercenaries who are resisting closer ties with the Damascus government to relocate to Girê Spi, and has transferred mercenaries and Turkmen families from there to occupied Afrin.
Human Rights Organization in Afrin reported that convoys of Turkish occupation mercenaries, including Jaish al-Sharqiya, Ahrar al-Sharqiya, and Samarkand, along with their families, were forcibly moved to Girê Spi from villages in Janderes and Mobata overnight from Monday to Tuesday via Azaz Road, al-Bab, and Jarabulus.
Additionally, Turkmen mercenaries from the al-Amshat and al-Hamzat divisions were relocated to occupied Afrin. These mercenaries are specially designated for the Turkish occupation army.
This action takes place in the context of support for the Liberation and Construction Movement, formed by the recent merger of Turkey's mercenaries Jaish al-Sharqiya and the Levant Front with civilian protesters in northern Aleppo towns against Turkish occupation and its approach towards reconciliation with the Damascus government.
Furthermore, Turkish intelligence's request to deploy mercenaries from the movement to fight the Guerrilla in the mountains of Kurdistan was denied by the organization's sources, stating that the mercenaries refused the Turkish state's conditions for reconciliation with the Damascus government.
The organization also noted that the Turkish occupation intelligence ordered the withdrawal of Ahrar al-Sharqiya, Jaish al-Sharqiya, and Samarkand mercenaries from Afrin as a form of punishment for not complying with Turkey's conditions.
Observers speculate that Turkey is taking steps to disassociate itself from its mercenaries, ensuring the safety of its Turkmen mercenaries and preparing for potential military operations in areas occupied by Turkey.
