Democratic Peoples' Council issues General Amnesty Law
The Democratic Peoples' Council of the Autonomous Administration issued General Amnesty Law No. 10, coinciding with the anniversary of the July 19 Revolution.
Today, the Democratic Peoples' Council of the Autonomous Administration for the North and East Syria region issued General Amnesty Law No. 10 in response to the demands of the sheikhs and tribal leaders during the Second Forum of Syrian Tribes and Components, and in conjunction with the anniversary of the July 19 Revolution.
The tribal leaders and sheikhs in the North and East Syria region, during the Second Forum of National Unity for Syrian Tribes and Components held on May 25 in the city of Hasaka, NE Syria, with the participation of more than 5,000 tribal, religious, and political figures, demanded in the final statement the issuance of an amnesty that includes those whose hands have not been stained with Syrian blood and those proven to be rehabilitated and reformed to return and reintegrate into their society.
