Hunger strike in Turkish jails enters 134th day

Activists continue their effectiveness within the framework of Leader Abdullah Ocalan's freedom campaign and the solution of the Kurdish issue, which has entered its 134st day in its new phase.

In the context of the activities of the global campaign “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, the political solution to the Kurdish issue,” the militants of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and the activists of the Kurdistan Women’s Freedom Party (PAJK), who were detained in prisons in Turkey and northern Kurdistan, began a hunger strike on November 27, 2023, and on 4 April has entered a new phase.

The new phase of the event consists of boycotting the courts, family visits, and speaking on the phone, under the slogan “Living the same circumstances with our leader.” Today, Hunger strike enters its 134st day.
