The Turkish authorities impose strict isolation on leader Abdullah Ocalan, and have prevented him for about 4 years from meeting his family and lawyers, as his last contact with the outside world was in March 2021. These violations raise concerns among the peoples of the North and East of Syria region who are demanding the end of the isolation and the achievement of his physical freedom.

Rasha Al-Muhammad, the Co-Chair of the Civil Documentation Directorate in Deir ez-Zor Canton, explained that the thought of the leader has guided women to the path of freedom and contributed to strengthening their role within the Democratic Autonomous Administration Project.

"This bold step reflects the vision of the thinker and philosopher leader Abdullah Ocalan in restoring women's rights and their true role in building societies, after they were marginalized and deprived of their most basic rights as a result of the male mentality and some reactionary traditions"

Al-Muhammad said.

She stressed that all women of NE Syria Cantons are continuing their struggle to achieve leader Abdullah Ocalan physical freedom, and lift the isolation.

While Fatima Al-Kuwaiti, the Co-Chair of the General Relief Office in Deir ez-Zor praised the great role of women within the Autonomous Administration, and how they have become qualified in all aspects to lead society and participate effectively in decision-making and managing the region.

Al-Kuwaiti called on human rights and international organizations to carry out their responsibilities and force the Turkish authorities to lift the isolation and achieve a fair trial for him.

She pledged to continue organizing campaigns demanding the physical freedom of the leader and denouncing the violations and crimes of the authorities against him.

Amina Al-Ali, the member of the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, strongly condemned the so-called "Disciplinary Penalties" against Leader Abdullah Ocalan, which are renewed every 3 or 6 months, calling on human rights and humanitarian organizations to carry their duties and stop the violations of the Turkish authorities against the leader
