In a special interview with Sterk TV, Karayilan noted that what is happening today is a Third World War, centered in the Middle East, with Kurdistan and Palestine as the main points of conflict. While the war in Palestine is openly presented in the media, the war in Kurdistan is waged behind closed doors under strict surveillance, making the suffering of the Kurdish people less known to the public.

He added that "the Turkish state, led by the Justice and Development Party and the Nationalist Movement Party, adopts policies aimed at igniting a regional war to achieve its own interests at the expense of other parties in the region." Karayilan accused Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of seeking to exploit the weakness of regional powers to build alliances that would enable him to implement his expansionist policies in Kurdistan.

Karayilan confirmed that "Turkey has adopted a new strategy since 2014, with the increasing role of the Kurds in fighting ISIS and their political and military advances in Syria and Iraq." He explained that Turkey, fearing Kurdish progress, has united various political and military forces within the state around a common goal: to prevent any Kurdish achievements that might threaten its existence.

He noted that the Turkish state seeks to enhance its regional influence by adopting concepts of a new Ottoman Empire and attempting to bring Syria and Iraq under its control. He pointed out that Turkey is sending troops to various regions outside its borders, such as Libya, Nigeria, Azerbaijan, and Somalia, as part of its expansionist strategy.

Karayilan concluded his discussion on the Third World War axis by stating that "real solutions to the region's problems will not be achieved through war and destruction but through dialogue and mutual recognition among the peoples of the region."

He also called for a ceasefire and efforts to find peaceful solutions that ensure the rights of the Palestinian and Kurdish peoples and prevent the Turkish regime from achieving its goals in the region.
