The attack targeted peaceful residents, their livelihoods and drinking water stations, with the aim of displacing residents of the area and destabilizing its security and stability, al-Salman said.

Al-Salman praised the awareness of the people of Deir ez-Zor Canton who stood by the military and security forces to pursue the attackers and maintain the security and stability of their country.

He also pointed out that "the attacks carried out by Turkey on the border strip of the NE Syria region, which are linked to these attacks carried out by the Damascus government and its mercenaries."

Al-Salman stressed that the attacks carried out by the Turkey and the Damascus government and the attempt to sow discord among the Syrian people will be the first supporter of the activity of ISIS mercenaries in the region.

He called on the international community to "be serious about finding a political solution in Syria, in order to prevent bloodshed and prevent the region from being dragged into the unknown, and to reduce killing, displacement and destruction."

In conclusion, Salah al-Salman appealed to "the free world and the UN Security Council to put an end to those states, which are trying to confuse the situation in the Middle East and export terrorism to serve their own policies."
