In response to the attacks by the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" forces, tribal leaders, dignitaries from both Arab and Kurdish communities, and representatives from Jazera Canton, including the Arab Ta'i tribe, issued a statement to the public.

The statement, read by the representative of the Sharabian tribe in Syria, Muhammad Aref, during a gathering of tribal leaders and dignitaries at the Aram Tigran Center in the town of Rimelan, Jazera Canton, NE Syria, included the following:

"Once again, the Syrian regime redirects its focus, completely ignoring the situation in other Syrian areas and the repeated and clear violation of its sovereignty in Damascus and other regions. It begins to create discord and undermine stability in areas that are currently stable by supporting mercenary groups under its control and overseeing battles in Deir ez-Zor, in coordination with Turkey and other forces to enforce chaos and hinder stabilization efforts, especially after its failure more than a year ago to undermine the will of Deir ez-Zor's people and its social symbols and original tribes.

We, the elders, dignitaries, and notables of Jazera Canton, with our sons and leaders, proudly announce our unified stance against all external interventions and attempts by the Ba'athist regime and its mercenaries to create discord among us.

Our tribes, with their men, women, elders, and youth, stand side by side with the Syrian Democratic Forces and internal security forces, supporting them with all our strength and resources to maintain the country's security and stability.

Our experiences and the harsh conditions we have endured have proven that our unity and solidarity are the strongest weapons against any attempts to destabilize our security and divide our ranks. We believe that the homeland is more valuable than anything else, and defending it is a sacred duty that falls upon every member of our proud tribes and clans.

We strongly condemn and reject foreign interventions and the attempts to create discord intended to undermine the security and stability of our regions, as well as the destruction of our social fabric and the incitement of discord among our fellow citizens. We denounce the repeated mass atrocities against innocent civilians, including the recent massacre in Bakara and Dahla, which resulted in the martyrdom of women, children, and the elderly. These acts constitute a gross violation of human rights and a breach of all human values, principles, and international laws, amounting to war crimes.

We assure everyone that the tribes and clans of NE Syria will remain a solid rock against all enemy conspiracies and a protective shield for the homeland against anyone who seeks to harm its security and stability.

We also call on all our fellow citizens to unite and stand behind the Syrian Democratic Forces and internal security forces, placing the interests of the nation above all else.

May God protect our homeland from all harm and continue to grant us security and safety through our unity and solidarity."

The statement from the Ta'i tribe, read by the head of the Ta'i Council, Hassan Farhan, also affirmed their full support for the Syrian Democratic Forces and internal security forces in repelling the Damascus government forces and the so-called "National Defense" forces from Deir ez-Zor. It stated:

"We, the members of the Ta'i tribe and all its clans, represented by the Ta'i Council, stand united with the Syrian Democratic Forces and internal security forces, which represent the legitimacy of all the components and sects of the North and East Syria region.

We categorically reject the barbaric and savage attacks that amount to humanitarian crimes against our people and our brethren in the Deir ez-Zor countryside.

We affirm that our Arab tribes and all our clans will continue to work hand in hand with all components, sects, and religions without exception in North and East Syria alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces.”
