Omar Ocalan requests meeting with leader Abdullah Ocalan
Omar Ocalan, MP from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), has submitted a request to the Turkish Ministry of Justice to meet with leader Abdullah Ocalan.
Today, Omar Ocalan, MP from the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), submitted a request to the Turkish Ministry of Justice to meet with Leader Abdullah Ocalan, who has been out of contact for 41 months.
The request stated: "Currently, we, the family of Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, who is detained in the high-security Imrali prison, have been unable to receive any information about him. Therefore, we are concerned about his health. As Mr. Abdullah Ocalan's nephew, I wish to visit him on August 16, 2024, and I request that you do everything possible to facilitate this meeting.”
