Roj News quoted a local security source today that the Turkish occupation army has begun constructing a new land road in Rashafa valley, located on the eastern side of Mount Matina in the north of Dohuk province in S Kurdistan, in order to strengthen the continuous supply lines of its occupation forces in the area.

The source explained that this new road will enable Turkish forces to improve their military movements and enhance their logistical capabilities in difficult mountainous areas, which contributes to strengthening their control over the region and paves the way for more attacks.

The construction of this road comes as part of a broader strategy of the Turkish occupation army, aimed at securing a long-term position in the area and controlling strategic mountain crossings.
