As part of the condemning reactions to the continued Turkish attacks on the areas of NE Syrian region, today the Health Council, the Aleppo Cultural Forum, civil society institutions in Aleppo, the Farmers’ Union, and the Health Body in Afrin and Shahba issued separate statements.

The Health Council's statement was read by Suzan Sheikho, the member of the Martyr Khaled Fajr Hospital in the presence of dozens of doctors and nurses working in the two neighborhoods.

The statement said that the Turkish government has increased the intensity of its terrorist attacks using the latest weapons on safe areas, targeting infrastructure, civilian targets, health centers and hospitals.

At the same time, it condemned the global international silence about the massacres committed against civilians, especially women and children.

In its conclusion, the statement appealed to international and regional powers, led by the International Coalition and the Russian Federation to stop this brutal aggression and impose a no-fly zone on NE Syria.

As for the statement of the Aleppo Cultural Forum and civil society institutions, it was read by the co-chair of the Aleppo Cultural Forum, Ahmed Berhat, in front of the forum’s activities center in the presence of dozens of members and representatives of unions and civil society institutions in Aleppo.

The statement said that the attacks express the reality of this Turkish state that was founded on the remains of the peoples of the region, especially after the ratification of the Social Contract document, which represents the cultural and moral heritage and is considered a constitution for these regions that manage themselves away from the mentality of the central regime.

The statement called on the Syrian government, Russia, the guarantor countries, the international coalition, and all countries to assume their responsibility and express clear and strict positions regarding the violation of the unity and sovereignty of the Syrian territories.

In this context, the Farmers Union and the Health Body in Afrin and Shahba also issued two separate statements.

The statement was read by the Co-chair of the Union, Khadija Dokmak, while the Health Body's statement was read in front of Afrin Hospital by administrators Brevan Youssef and Talat Talo.

The two statements condemned the attacks of the Turkish state on NE Syria.

The two statements also condemned the international silence regarding the attacks, and called on international powers, bodies, human rights organizations and the World Health Organization to stand up to the terrorism of the Turkish state and perform their humanitarian and moral role.
