Al-Hol Camp administration briefs Autonomous Administration on security campaign
The administration of Al-Hol Camp briefed a delegation from the Body of Social Affairs and Labor in the Autonomous Administration, who visited the camp, on the latest developments in the ongoing security campaign against ISIS sleeper cells.

A delegation from the Body of Social Affairs and Labor in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria visited Al-Hol Camp to review the ongoing security campaign against ISIS sleeper cells inside the camp.
The delegation, which included the Co-Chair Zahra Samou and a number of deputies and administrators from the department, met with the camp administration and the entities supervising the security campaign.
During the visit, the camp administration provided a detailed explanation of the latest updates on the security campaign launched yesterday (April 18) by the Internal Security Forces and the Women’s Internal Security Forces, with the participation of the Women’s Protection Units and support from the Syrian Democratic Forces, in and around Al-Hol Camp. The campaign is targeting ISIS sleeper cells.
So far, the campaign has resulted in the arrest of 16 ISIS members during meticulous search operations inside the camp. In addition, three Kalashnikov rifles, two pistols, and some ammunition were seized, according to a statement released today by the Internal Security Forces.
The delegation stressed the importance of continuing such campaigns to confront the threat posed by ISIS and to curb the activity of its cells attempting to destabilize the region.
They also expressed appreciation for the efforts of the security forces in maintaining safety both inside and outside the camp.
Al-Hol Camp is located about 45 km from the city of Hasaka and hosts approximately 13,124 Iraqi nationals, 15,805 Syrians, and 6,385 individuals from the families of ISIS members.
