Israeli forces targeted the Bir Ajam forest in the Quneitra countryside with three shells, amid continued Israeli incursions, shelling, and arrests in areas of southern Syria.

Israeli forces shelled the Bir Ajam forest, west of Zubaydah village in the central Quneitra countryside, with three shells today, according to a Hawar Agency correspondent citing eyewitnesses. No injuries have been reported.

The shelling comes amid continued Israeli incursions and military operations in parts of southern Syria, particularly in the Quneitra and Daraa countryside and the Damascus countryside, alongside reported arrests and repeated movements by Israeli forces in the area.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented 594 Israeli incursions into Syrian territory from the beginning of 2026 through September 19. These included 51 incursions in January, 51 in February, 68 in March, 62 in April, 78 in May, 73 in June, 64 in July, 95 in August, and around 52 incursions during September so far
