After killing 34 soldiers … killing 14 other Turkish occupation soldiers
The People's Defense Forces (HPG) launched painful strikes on the Turkish occupation army in the Mediya defense areas in Southern Kurdistan, the last of which was yesterday, in which the former killed 14 of the latter's soldiers, and 9 sites were destroyed.
The Media Center of the People Defense Forces issued a written statement a short while ago about specific operations carried out by the forces against the Turkish occupation army in the Mediya defense areas in Southern Kurdistan, and the outcome of the Turkish army’s attacks on those areas in the past 72 hours.
Turkish occupation army attacks with banned bombs:
On January 8, our military fortifications in the Saidya resistance area in the Zap region were bombed once with banned bombs.
Turkish occupation army attacks:
On the ninth, tenth, and eleventh of this month, the squares of Dargli, Beşeli, and Seri Matina were bombed six times, the area of Bahar Hill and Judi Hill in the Shahid Dalil area in the West Zab region four times, and the Lulan River Square in the Khakurk region six times by warplanes, and the toll of the attacks was 16 attacks.
The areas of Zap, Martyr Dalil West Zap, Matina and Khakurk were bombed with shells.
The Turkish occupation army attacked the resistance fortifications in the Saidya resistance area in the Zap region between the 7th and the 10th of this January, and tried to destroy the trenches with bulldozers.
Earlier last week, the People Defense Forces confirmed the killing of 34 soldiers of the Turkish occupation army during a qualitative revolutionary operation carried out by its forces in the same Zap region, on the 22nd of last December.
