For the 47th day in a row, the hunger strike started by activists in Turkish prisons continues to demand the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan.

 Political prisoners in Turkish prisons in northern Kurdistan and Turkey began a hunger strike for the physical freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan and the end of his isolation, the alternating hunger strike in Turkish prisons continues on its 47th day.

The hunger strike began on November 27 of last year, as part of activities organized around the world in support of the “Freedom for Abdullah Ocalan, political solution to the Kurdish issue” campaign. The hunger strike is scheduled to continue until February 15th.

The event for the families of detainees continues in Amed, Van, Mersin, Adana, Istanbul and Izmir, organized under the slogan “Sit-In for Justice” within the framework of the same campaign.
