90 killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in 48 hours
More than 90 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Gaza in 48 hours, including women and children in shelters for displaced people, as Israel intensifies pressure on Hamas to release hostages.

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that more than 90 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes over the past 48 hours, as Israel intensifies its attacks on Gaza to increase pressure on Hamas to release its hostages.
The ministry said the dead included at least 15 people who died overnight, including women and children, some of whom had taken shelter in a designated humanitarian area.
It added that at least 11 people were killed in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Yunis, many of them in a tent in the Mawasi area, where hundreds of thousands of displaced people live.
Four others were killed in separate shelling in the city of Rafah, including a mother and her daughter, according to the European Hospital, where the bodies were brought.
Israel has vowed to intensify its attacks on Gaza and occupy large "security zones" inside the Strip.
For six weeks, Israel has blockaded Gaza, preventing the entry of food and other goods.
Aid organizations warned this week that thousands of children are suffering from malnutrition, with most barely eating one meal a day, and supplies are running low, according to the United Nations.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) said that no aid has entered the Gaza Strip since March 2.
UNRWA indicated, in tweets on its X platform, that this period is three times longer than the blockade imposed in October 2023. It noted that approximately 69 percent of the Gaza Strip is subject to forced displacement orders following the issuance of at least 20 such orders by the Israeli military. It explained that UN estimates indicate that approximately 420,000 citizens have been displaced again since Israel resumed its offensive on Gaza.
