Today, the sheikhs and notables of the clans from Raqqa gathered in front of the town council of Hazima, in the northern countryside of the city, to deliver a statement that reads:

"We appeal to the honorable sons of Deir ez-Zor clans not to allow the vandals to tamper with the safety and security of the Autonomous Administration region and the aspirants interfered in sabotaging our regions in NE Syria. We are the people of NE Syria with all its sects; Arabs, Kurds, Syriacs and Circassians, all in one trench".

The statement added: "Therefore, we appeal to all sheikhs, notables, and honorable clansmen not to be drawn behind the greedy party to sabotage the region, and behind the external schemes and hostile media, and from here we call to stand side by side with the SDF, because they are our sons".

The statement noted that after the success of the AANES in eliminating terrorism, countries seek to strike security in the region.

In conclusion, the statement condemned: "Turkish attacks on our areas in the northern countryside of Raqqa, by directing its mercenaries to attack safe areas in the northern countryside, and we call our forces, the SDF, to carry out their duty and protect the gains made by our martyrs, preserve the safety of the people, and victory belongs to our forces, the Syrian Democratic Forces".
