A Libyan military source in the southern city of Sabha said on Thursday that the Libyan army took control of the area of Ghadwa, 40 km from the city of Sabha, according to Sputnik.

The source pointed out that the Libyan army is preparing to enter the area of Hodeidah to control it.

On the 15th of January, the Libyan army announced the start of a military operation to eliminate IS in the areas of south-west Libya.
