​​Şêrawa communes distributed relief to people of Afrin

On Monday, the communes of Ziyara village of Şêrawa district at Afrin canton distributed the monthly relief to the villagers from food and olive oil, the relief is distributed twice a month to the residents of Afrin, who live in Şêrawa district.

The communes provided services to the people in Şêrawa district and areas of al-Shahba in accordance with the available potentials of water and electricity and distribution of relief, and on Monday the communes of Şêrawa district initiated to distribute relief to the people of Afrin who were forcibly displaced from the aggression and the Turkish occupation, and lived in Şêrawa district and areas of al-Shahba and to the indigenous villages. The aid provided included various food items and olive oil.

In this context the member of Relief Committee in Şêrawa district, Muhammad Habash said "Since the people of Afrin have come to Şêrawa district and the areas of al-Shahba, we are doing our best to provide water, electricity and other services, as well as the distribution of humanitarian assistance to the parents coming from Afrin and the indigenous people of the villages of Şêrawa and al-Shahba canton

He said "We distribute relief to the people on a regular basis every month, and we distribute it once to the indigenous people and twice a month to the people of Afrin who live in the villages of Şêrawa, and the number of the rations distributed to the people coming to this village is about 400 baskets of food containing each of the "tea, sugar, molasses, canned, broccoli, lentils, pasta."

Habash concluded by saying: "We will continue to provide our duty towards the people according to our potentials, so that parents do not need anything in this siege, which they have suffered from in all sides."
