The Turkish occupation army has been launching intensive airstrikes on border villages in Qandil, S. Kurdistan, since this morning, according to Roj News Agency.

The villages that were bombed are: Surada, Endza, and Kermesurani.

In a statement to Roj News, Qandil's Co-Mayor, Sirwan Jalal, confirmed that the Turkish bombardment has caused significant damage. He added, "Turkish warplanes continue to fly over the area, which increases the tension and fear among the residents."

The agency did not provide details on the extent of the damage or casualties.

The occupation army continues its bombardment of various areas in Southern Kurdistan, which has resulted in the martyrdom of 23 civilians and the injury of 17 others so far this year.
