8 Turkish occupation soldiers killed, injured in Medya defense areas

Today, the HPG's media center issued a statement regarding the operations conducted by the Gêrîla forces against the Turkish occupation army.

According to the statement, the Gêrîla forces carried out several operations targeting the movements of the Turkish occupation army in the resistance areas of S. Kurdistan, including the hills of Judi and Amadiya, the Bahar area, as well as operations in Metina and Khakurk.

The statement confirmed that: "The most significant operation took place on September 8 near the bridge of Kafn Majee village, where a group of Turkish occupation soldiers fell into a well-planned ambush, resulting in the killing of 3 soldiers, including one named Mohammed, and the injury of 4 others. Another operation was carried out on September 9 at 04:30 in the resistance area of Bahar Hill, which resulted in the sniper killing of one soldier."

The statement explained that: "The Turkish occupation responded to these operations with aerial and artillery bombardments on resistance positions. The area was bombed by warplanes and attack helicopters on September 9, in addition to the use of banned explosives against resistance tunnels on the hills of Judi and FM.”
