The People's Defense Forces (HPG) carried out an operation in Khakurke in the Medya defense areas in S. Kurdistan, resulting in the death of four Turkish occupation soldiers, including an officer.

The HPG Media Center issued a statement regarding the operations carried out by the HPG and the attacks by the Turkish occupation army. The statement included the following:

In the Kafr region:

On September 2 at 01:30, fighters from the Free Women's Units destroyed a surveillance camera system and solar panels placed by the enemy army between the villages of Tisa and Kola in Şemizynan.

In the Khakurke region:

On September 2 at 12:50, our forces targeted enemy soldiers in Martyr Heiman Hill with heavy weapons. In this successful operation, as much as our forces could confirm, four Turkish soldiers were killed, including two high-ranking soldiers, and two others were injured. The Turkish occupation army announced that Major Osman Ayan, confirmed dead in this operation, died of a heart attack. However, this fascist and three accompanying soldiers were eliminated in the operation carried out by our forces, and two others were injured.

In the Metina region:

On September 5 at 13:20, fighters from the Free Women's Units targeted the Turkish occupation army, which was attempting to position itself in the resistance area in Serê Metîna, with heavy weapons. After the operation, the movements of enemy soldiers were halted.

In the Martyr Delil west Zap region:

On September 4 at 09:30, our forces targeted enemy soldiers heading towards the war tunnels in the resistance area jn Jodi Hill with heavy weapons. After the operation, the movements of the occupation army were halted, and they were forced to withdraw somewhat.

On September 5 at 10:00, 16:00, and 18:00, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in the resistance area in Jodi Hill.

At 18:30, fighters from the Free Women's Units targeted occupation soldiers in the resistance area of Jodi Hill with heavy weapons.

On September 4 at 07:00, the Turkish occupation army was targeted with heavy weapons in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill.

At 22:00, fighters from the Free Women's Units intervened in the movements of Sikorsky helicopters belonging to the Turkish occupation army in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill.

On September 5 at 03:30, our forces intervened in the movements of the Turkish occupation army attempting to position itself in the resistance area on Amadiya Hill with semi-automatic weapons. After our forces' intervention, the movements of enemy soldiers were halted.

From 06:00 to 11:00, our forces targeted the Turkish occupation army in the resistance area on Amadiya Hill with heavy weapons six times.

Turkish occupation army’s use of banned weapons:

On September 4, the war tunnels of our forces in the resistance area of FM Hill were bombed twice with banned weapons.

On September 5, the war tunnels of our forces in the resistance area of Amadiya Hill were bombed twice with banned weapons.

Turkish occupation army attacks:

On September 3, 4, 5, and 6, Turkish warplanes bombed the Lolan, Rust Hill, and Martyr Sharif areas in the Khakurke region eight times, the Kafya Plain area in the Gari region three times, the resistance area in Serê Metîna in the Metina region once, the resistance area of Bahar Hill in the Martyr Delil West Zap region three times, and the Miran, Siser, and Sidar areas in the Gari region five times, making a total of 20 bombings in the mentioned areas.

On September 3 and 5, the resistance area in Serê Metîna in the Metina region was bombed seven times by attack helicopters.
