The Kurdish Women's Movement in Europe (TJK-E) issued a written statement regarding the letters sent to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) demanding the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

In its statement, the movement noted that thousands of women from many countries participated in the campaign to send letters to the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture, which was announced on April 19 and launched within the framework of the global campaign for the physical freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan.

The movement clarified that more than 20,000 women sent letters to remind the committee of its duties and called on it to fulfill them, thus concluding its activity in this context. The statement emphasized, "The isolation imposed on the leader must end immediately, and a report on his condition and health must be published. We call once again on the Committee for the Prevention of Torture to fulfill its duties by ending the isolation in Imrali on the leader and revealing the missions reports to the public."

The statement concluded by reaffirming their commitment to the struggle until the physical freedom of the leader is achieved, stating, "We will continue new campaigns and activities within the framework of the global campaign for the leader's freedom, because we women see the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan as our freedom. Until this is achieved, we will continue our activities without interruption," and called on all peoples to intensify the struggle.
