The Violations Documentation Center revealed in a report published today, that 28 citizens were kidnapped by mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state in the city of Afrin and its occupied villages, while asking for the release of some of them a ransom.

July 1-2024:

The mercenaries of the "National Army" kidnapped the Kurdish young man, Rashid Samir Ali, 24 years old, while he was leaving his shoe shop in the city of Jinders in the countryside of Afrin, demanding a ransom of 25,000 US dollars in exchange for his release.

The mercenaries of the National Army (Military Police) kidnapped 2 citizens from the Afrin area near the Al-Taqwa bakery located on the road to the village of Trenda, namely: Khalil Haj Ahmed, 47 years old, from the town of Jinders, and Muhammad Majeed, 43 years old, from the village of Ain Hojra, Maabatli district. They were taken to an unknown destination without knowing their fate.
