A new batch of Syrians left Al-Hol camp, as part of the return process organized by the Democratic Autonomous Administration of the North and East Syria Region, the second of its kind this year.

Under the supervision of the Social Affairs Commission and the toilers of the Democratic AANES, and in the presence of representatives from the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council, and in coordination with the Syrian Center for Studies and Dialogue, a new batch left Al-Hol camp, which included 346 people from 82 families from Deir ez- Zor Canton.

75 of Deir ez-Zor families were scheduled to leave al-Hol camp as part of the second batch, but the number rose to 82, according to the camp administration.

This is the second batch this year, according to the co-chair of the Social Affairs Commission and the toilers of the Democratic AANES region, Sheikhmus Ahmed, and the 55 return process by the Autonomous Administration since 2019 for Syrians wishing to return.

The batch that headed to Deir ez-Zor Canton, consisting of dozens of buses, trucks and a transport vehicle, is accompanied by the Internal Security Forces and ambulances equipped with medical staff from the Democratic Autonomous Administration's Health Body.

Al-Hol camp, located in the city of Hasaka in the North and East Syria region, which is the most dangerous camp in the world, because it shelters in some of its sections the families of ISIS mercenaries, according to the latest statistics obtained by ANHA agency from the camp administration, 42,781 people, including 19,530 Iraqis, and 16,779 Syria, while the number of foreigners is 6,461 people, and 11 people of unknown parentage.
