2 children injured in clashes between Turkish mercenaries in occupied Afrin
Two children were injured in the city of Afrin, which is occupied by Turkey and its mercenaries, during a new bout of fighting between the mercenaries in the city.
Local sources from the occupied city of Afrin reported that the children were injured in the violent clashes that erupted late last night, Sunday, between Turkish mercenaries from the "Joint Forces" and "Ahrar al-Sharqiya."
The sources confirmed that the fighting, which took place on the New Highway and its surrounding areas in Afrin, was triggered by a dispute between mercenaries from both sides over the control of a house.
Turkey and its mercenaries have occupied the city of Afrin and various surrounding areas since March 2018. The occupied regions suffer from a lack of security due to daily fighting among mercenaries over property and crossings, as well as incidents of killing, looting, sexual assault, and abduction.
