Security Forces dismantle 3 mines in Deir ez-Zor countryside
The Internal Security Forces of NE Syria dismantled three mines in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, and appealed to the people to report any suspicious bjects.
The Official Website of the Internal Security Forces of North and East Syria said that their forces dismantled 3 mines in the Deir ez-Zor countryside yesterday.
Information about the details of the operation stated: “The mine engineering team managed to dismantle three mines, two of which were anti-tank mines in the Deir ez-Zor countryside on Friday, May 31.”
Following reports submitted by citizens to our security centers, indicating the presence of suspicious objects on the side of the road in the town of Hawi Al-Hasan, west of Deir ez-Zor, and the town of Al-Saada, north of Deir ez-Zor, our forces responded to the call and head to the aforementioned places to impose a security cordon, block the road during the inspection by explosives experts of the objects, it was found that there were two anti-armor mines prepared for detonation and another fake one prepared to intimidate citizens on the main road in the town of Saada, our forces managed to to dismantle them safely without any damage, and transport them to designated and safe places to destroy them later.
Our forces call on our fellow citizens to report any terrorist movements or suspicious objects that threaten security and stability in our regions.”
