The people of the towns of Al-Hayya and Al-Yasti in the eastern countryside of Manbij canton hold a rally to denounce the attacks of the Turkish occupation on NE Syria, and the isolation imposed on leader Abdullah Ocalan. 

The rally was attended by dignitaries and tribal sheikhs, political parties, the Zenobia Women's Gathering Council, civil society institutions, and the Revolutionary Youth Movement.

The participants raised the flags of the Syrian Democratic Forces and pictures of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, in addition to banners reading "The time has come for the freedom of leader Abdullah Ocalan."

The Co-Chair of the Al-Hayya Town Council, Ibrahim Al-Sheikh Hussein, delivered a speech in which he said: “From this steadfast town, victory began with its people and land, and the ray of freedom began to reflect its light on our regions. Hope and life returned to our people in obtaining their freedom.”

He added: “We are a people who realize that freedom is the most precious thing in existence.”

He saluted leader Abdullah Ocalan, saying: “From this town, a salute to the steadfastness, struggle, and sacrifice of leader Abdullah Ocalan, who gave himself for the freedom of the people of the region, refused to submit and give up his principles.”

Hanaa Taljibini the member of the Zenobia Women’s Gathering Council in Manbij Canton, said: “We, the women of Manbij Canton condemn all the barbaric attacks by the fascist Turkish state and the forces of the Damascus government, which aim to destabilize security and stability and spread discord among the components.”

Hanaa Taljibini called on human rights organizations to lift the isolation and reveal leader physical health. The rally ended with chanting slogans such as "No life without the leader" and "Martyrs are immortal".
