The East Kurdistan Free Women's Society (KJAR) launched the campaign "No to Executions, Yes to a Free Life" in conjunction with the 14th anniversary of the execution of the activist Shirin Alamhouli and her comrades, which took place on May 9, 2010.

In support of the campaign, the German leftist organization sent a video message expressing its backing of the KJAR’s campaign.

The message stated: "On behalf of the left, we strongly condemn the death sentence issued by the anti-women Iranian regime against journalist Bakhshan Azizi and activist Sharifa Mohammadi, and we demand an immediate halt to the execution.

We support and stand with the women's revolution in E. Kurdistan and Iran.

We say, 'No to executions... Yes to a free life.'

'Woman, Life, Freedom.'"

Numerous women's organizations from around the world have supported the campaign, and activists from Italy and Colombia have also expressed their support.
