Sources reported to Roj News agency that the Turkish occupation army heavily bombed the Bradost mountain range in the Hawler province, S. Kurdistan.

The airstrikes caused significant damage to the environment, sparking fires in forests and agricultural fields, and instilling fear and panic among nearby residents.

Since the beginning of last July, the Turkish occupation army, in cooperation with the Kurdistan Democratic Party, has escalated its attacks and incursions into various areas of S. Kurdistan, occupying wide areas, particularly in Dohuk province. This has led to large-scale displacement and extensive destruction of civilians' properties.

An Iraqi-Turkish security agreement has been concluded, which popular circles view as legitimizing Turkey's occupation of Iraqi territory. In response, the Kurdistan Communities Union (KCK) has urged the Iraqi government not to engage in the dirty policies practiced by the occupying Turkish state and to prioritize friendly relations that consider the interests of the Iraqi people.
