Call from K Star: Support women in India

Today, the K Star Council published a written statement on the murder and rape of an Indian doctor, and the struggle of women in India against violent crimes and murders against them, reads:

"The aggressive hegemonic system has closed all spheres of life to women for thousands of years, creating a mentality of sexism and suppression of women's freedom, the patriarchal hegemonic mentality has subjected the whole society to the shackles of slavery, and all kinds of brutal attacks have been launched on educated and free women who want to break the chains of slavery and prove their existence, and the pressure and oppression of the dominant man is not limited to the woman's body only, on the contrary, it is strengthening day by day, for the more pressures and attacks by the hegemony, authoritarian and sexist men increase, so does the struggle of women for free life across borders.

Today, in the Indian city of Calcutta, women have become victims of men's brutality and assaults, the young doctor who struggles to save people's lives has been assaulted, raped and killed, and this attack did not occur against a young woman in Calcutta only, but against all women in her person, so all women must unite to make the world a safe and free place for women, and just as women's pain crossed borders, their struggle also crossed borders, and the philosophy of (women, life, freedom), that has illuminated Kurdish women's struggle for freedom for years, a bridge of freedom that connects women with their struggle for freedom.

From Zilan to Sakina, from Zainab Jalalian to Gina Amini, from Kurdish women to Indian women, women gather around their struggle and organize it, organized women are strong women, and the organized women's struggle will defeat and eliminate men's domination and power, and will build a free world for women, women refuse to bow to the shackles of slavery and resist against oppression and pressure, and women's throats around the world today echo with the slogan "Women, Life, Freedom", the struggle of the world's women for freedom is more organized than ever, and women's support for each other will culminate in freedom.

We at the Kongra Star Council condemn the attack on Indian women, join hands with all the women of India and the world, those women who are fighting for their freedom, and we affirm to continue the struggle against the dominant regime and the dominant man until the end, benefiting from our experiences and strength gained from the Rojava revolution and the struggle of Kurdish women and the Kurdish people in general, and we will support the struggle of free women around the world to expand and culminate in victory, and we will stand with women in this struggle."
