HPG shoots down armed Turkish drone
The People's Defense Forces (HPG) announced that its specialized air defense forces had shot down an armed Turkish in Assos region.
The HPG's Media Center published new information about the attacks of the Turkish occupation state, and stated that the forces managed to shoot down an armed drone of the Turkish occupation army in Assos region.
It noted in the details that the Qandil air defense system managed to shoot the drone down in Assos region.
The People's Defense Forces are confronting massive air and ground attacks by the Turkish occupation army, with the participation of Kurdistan Democratic Party forces on areas of Southern Kurdistan.
On July 10, the HPG shot down a helicopter of the Turkish occupation army in Zap, Southern Kurdistan.
Worth to note this is the second drone to be shot down by the HPG within a week.
